OUR MISSION: TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS THAT POWER SUCCESS
Founded in 1969, Allied Electric Inc. is a multifaceted Electrical Contractor located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are experts in our trade, providing electrical construction services in an array of markets nationwide, including commercial, industrial, health care, educational, food processing, and senior living markets.
Since our inception, Allied Electric has not only grown, but thrived, and we know it is due in large part to the experience and longevity of our personnel. From our field personnel to the office staff, many of our team members have been a part of Allied for 20 years or more. This longevity and loyalty produces a community of teamwork, a concern for the customer, and a concern for one another. Everything we do is centered on developing lasting relationships for our customer's benefit, our employees' benefit and our company's reputation.
As a full service electrical contractor, we have a professional, multi-state licensed engineering department, that includes electrical engineers, designers, and CAD and BIM professionals. Our 24-hour Service team and Shareco Technology division can install, service, or repair anything from high voltage installations to data network solutions. Whatever your next electrical project may be, big or small, you can count on the Allied team to take it on with the utmost level of quality, professionalism, and performance.
We know that our people are our most valuable asset, and for this reason, we have committed ourselves to a culture centered around safety. We have a full-time safety director on staff who makes bi-weekly job-site inspections for all key projects; an active safety committee, composed of individuals from throughout the company, which meets monthly; and we require full crew participation at our toolbox safety meetings, which are held weekly at each of our job-sites.
In 2016, we hosted our inaugural company safety day, FUSED, for all Allied employees. The day consisted of different safety education activities and classes, offering employees opportunities to gain different certifications and learn about the latest safety news in the industry. The event was such a hit that we decided to do it again, and plans are currently underway for FUSED 2.0.
Our array of services is expansive. No matter what your electrical project entails, Allied has the skills and savvy to take care of it.
